Christmas Delivery
To best ensure Christmas delivery, please order by 9am on Wednesday, Dec 18.
We roast to order and ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Typically, online orders are shipped same day via USPS if placed before 9am. All orders placed / subscriptions scheduled after 9am are slated for the next production day. Exceptions to this include weeks with federal holidays and the few times a year where our roastery team takes a well-deserved break. On these occasions, please check Gracenote social media and/or the banner on our home page for scheduling updates.
Shipping
We use USPS Priority Mail for most of our online orders. Once an order is processed by our production team, an email will automatically send to the email address provided with an order confirmation and tracking information. Sometimes, packages can be delayed, the reasons for which are typically outside of our control. In the unlikely case where a package has yet to arrive 2+ days after USPS tracking suggests, please contact us.
If you require expedited shipping for any reason, please reach out prior to placing your order.
Current lead time (May 2024) for USPS priority shipping is 3-5 days.

Roast Style
We ship freshly roasted bags of whole bean coffee. This optimizes quality, freshness, and enhances the overall experience of your daily brew. If you are looking for a coffee grinder, contact us and we will help you find the best one for your needs!
Depending on the origin and type of roast (drip, espresso), the rest period for a coffee can be as long as 12 days, and as soon as 6 days after the roast date. Espresso roasts will typically need resting on the longer side of that spectrum. Most of the tasting notes that can be attributed to “too fresh a coffee” peak at day 3, and lessen after day 4. If you consider yourself curious, experiment and see if you can taste the difference in unrested vs. rested coffee!
Our decade-plus of roasting experience allows us to ensure that we get the most of what each unique lot of coffee beans presents. This means a fuller roast profile than is often found in the specialty coffee world, without sacrificing any of the delicate flavors and nuance such high quality beans have to offer.
